Core Web Vitals - what they are

Core Web Vitals are three Google metrics: how fast the main content appears (LCP), how fast the page responds to a tap or click (INP) and whether the layout jumps while loading (CLS). They are a ranking signal, but not the main one: a fast page without the right copy will not rise. That is why speed is a separate step, not the whole optimization.
