GEO and SEO optimisation online with YoSiteUp

Prepare your website to grow in Google and to be named more often in AI search answers.

What the service checks. Search engine optimisation starts with a review: the service checks each page you choose against more than 120 points. It shows which searches the page appears for in Google and in what position, selects keywords with genuine demand, checks whether AI search mentions your website and compares you with competitors in the results and in AI answers.

What you get. A report for each page: current positions and searches, chosen keywords, your visibility in AI answers alongside competitors, problems and ready fixes - new titles, descriptions, copy, questions and answers, and structured data. It also tells you which pages to tackle first for quicker results.

How to apply it. You can make the changes yourself in your website admin: copy the ready versions from the report and paste them into your website. Once that is done, on-page SEO and GEO for AI answers are complete for the pages you selected.

One-off payment. You pay once and receive a ready plan with fixes for each page. The fixes stay on your website and keep working.

SEO website optimisation

Stages of work on your website

  1. Stage 1. Free calculation

    You enter your site, what you sell, your region and a few important pages. We measure demand: how many people search for your services in Google in your region, in the language of each of your pages - and we keep only searches that match your site. We check up to 10 pages and show how many AI answers already cite you and your competitors.

    Why: to see your market in numbers and the main page problems before you pay.

    Get a free calculation →

  2. Stage 2. Order: package, questionnaire, pages

    You choose a package by number of pages - an audit and report for any platform. A 5-10 minute questionnaire covers what sets you apart, delivery and payment, warranty, what must not change and what customers ask. Then you confirm the list of pages we work on.

    Why: the copy for your pages is built only on your facts - no invented deadlines, prices or promises. No site access is needed.

  3. Stage 3. Page check: over 120 SEO and GEO checks

    We check every page the way Google and AI search see it:

    • meta tags and headings: title, description, H1-H3;
    • copy: is it original, is there a direct answer at the top, customer questions, duplicates, fragments in another language;
    • links and images: broken links, redirects, links without text, alt text, heavy files, depth from the home page;
    • schema.org markup: is it present and free of errors (business, product, questions, breadcrumbs);
    • indexing and languages: noindex, canonical, sitemap, hreflang, language switcher;
    • AI search crawler access - both in robots.txt and on the server;
    • trust: about page, contact details, author and date on articles;
    • speed on mobile and desktop as Google measures it.

    Why: many tools check only the technical side or only the copy. We look at everything that keeps a page out of Google and out of ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity answers - and separate page errors from template settings.

    Learn more →

  4. Stage 4. Baseline

    We record where the pages stand now: searches in the Google top 100 and positions, how many Google AI answers cite each page and your competitors, SEO and AI-readiness scores, speed.

    Why: the result is later compared with these numbers - in the Support plan or a repeat audit.

  5. Stage 5. Queries for each page

    We pick the searches people use to find the page and keep only those that fit its meaning. We check that the page type matches what people want: "buy" - a product or catalog, "how to choose" - an article.

    Why: relevant searches missing from the copy are added - that is how the page starts showing up for them.

    Learn more →

  6. Stage 6. Fixes for each page

    New title, description and H1; copy with a direct answer at the top - what, where, how much, how to order; buyer questions and answers with FAQPage markup; fixes for the problems found. For each fix - where to apply it on your site.

    Why: these are the pages Google ranks higher and AI answers quote: a clear answer, facts, questions and clean markup.

    Learn more →

  7. Stage 7. Report

    A PDF for every page: the numbers now, before - after fixes, ready markup code, where to change it. Separately - what to set up in the theme, plugins and hosting, with exact steps.

    Why: fixes take hours, not days: everything is ready to paste, nothing to figure out.

    What the report includes →

  8. Stage 8. Implementation and results

    Make the fixes from the report on each page - you can do it yourself at no cost, as the values and copy are ready to paste. Some time later, check the results: the Support plan (measured every month) or a repeat audit of the same pages.

    Why: Google and AI search take time - first changes usually show in 2-4 weeks.

    Support plan and repeat audit →

What GEO and SEO website optimisation is

SEO optimisation means working on the pages that already exist on your website, so that Google understands which queries to show them for and people choose you. On-page optimisation covers the pages themselves: headings, copy, markup, speed, links between pages. GEO optimisation adds a second goal: for AI search (Google AI, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) to understand your pages and cite them in its answers. Together this is GEO and SEO optimisation of your website's pages: one package, one piece of work, two kinds of search.

On-page SEO and on-page GEO: optimising every page

On-page SEO is everything that changes on the page itself: the query, title, description, H1, copy, markup, speed, links to other pages on the website. That is SEO optimisation in the narrow sense, as opposed to off-page work - backlinks and articles, which belong to monthly SEO promotion.

On-page GEO means optimising the same page for AI answers: short facts that can be quoted, questions and answers, schema.org markup, access for AI search crawlers and consistent contact details. GEO page optimisation does not replace SEO but builds on it: AI takes its sources from content that is clearly visible in Google and easy to understand.

Customers from Google and AI instead of paid advertising

In big cities - London, Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne - there are more businesses, and so tougher competition for the same Google queries. Ready GEO and SEO optimisation packages put your pages in order for both kinds of search and build organic traffic that keeps working after the job is finished. Paid ads stop when the budget runs out, whereas a page that ranks in Google and appears in AI answers brings in customers every day.

Organic traffic is free and often brings more orders: people trust ordinary search results and AI answers more than ad placements. GEO adds another advantage: while most competitors have not yet heard of it, it is easier to win a place in AI answers.

GEO and SEO website optimisation for Google and AI

The YoSiteUp service offers ready-made GEO and SEO optimisation solutions: it improves your website for Google search and AI answers so that organic traffic grows steadily. The packages cover all on-page work - from technical checks to copy and markup - and prepare your pages for AI search, which increasingly answers shoppers before the usual results appear.

Your website is handled by a combination of automated checks covering more than 120 points on every page and a manual review that picks out what matters and discards false alarms, after which fixes are written for each page. The service follows Google's requirements and the way AI chooses its sources, and shows you every step of the work.

At the end you receive a detailed report for each page: what it looked like, what to change, where to change it and what to compare results against later. The final report lets you check the work yourself - no need to take anything on trust.

Whatever kind of website you have - a company website, a service website, a blog or an online shop - the approach is the same, only the emphasis changes. We offer affordable GEO and SEO page optimisation that follows Google's guidelines.

Ready packages: one approach, different scope

To keep things simple, we offer ready GEO and SEO optimisation packages at a fixed price. The packages differ only in the number of pages: the bigger the website, the more pages there are to check and the more fixes to prepare. The approach and the work involved are identical for a 25-page package and a 1,000-page one.

Every stage of the work is open to you: this page describes each step, and the report shows what was done on each page. Package prices are in the GEO SEO price list, and before paying you can have up to 10 pages checked free of charge.

An SEO and GEO audit - the first step in optimising a website

Before making any changes, you need to know exactly what state the website is in. That is why the work starts with an audit. We check the technical side: whether pages are open to indexing, whether they are in the sitemap, what robots.txt says, whether there are unnecessary redirects or errors and how the page loads on mobile. We check titles and descriptions, the originality and completeness of the copy, and schema.org markup.

For GEO we add our own checks: does the website let the ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI crawlers in - both in robots.txt and at server level; does the page contain facts and answers that AI can quote; and how many AI answers in your niche already cite you or your competitors. The outcome of the audit is a roadmap: where to start so the website becomes visible in Google and in AI answers. Full details on the technical audit page.

Keyword research and keyword mapping for pages

After the audit comes the second key stage: keyword research. We do not gather a huge keyword list "just in case" but assign queries to the pages of your website: each page gets one main query and a few secondary ones, and no two pages compete for the same query. This gives the website a logical structure and a sensible distribution of search queries.

We choose queries based on real search volume and difficulty in your country, taking commercial intent into account: "buy" and "price" go to product and service pages, "how to choose" goes to articles. For GEO we add the questions customers ask AI - longer and more specific than ordinary searches. This is the foundation on which all of a page's copy is built. Details - keyword research.

Content optimisation: copy, headings, images

When working on copy, we check that it is original, relevant to the page and answers the query in the opening lines. We add the queries you need naturally, not as a comma-separated list. We check the structure: one H1, subheadings, lists, a logical flow. Images should be lightweight and have clear alt text.

For GEO, what matters most in the copy is facts: a "from" price, timescales, service area, guarantees, delivery terms. AI builds its answers from short, clear fragments, and vague text does not make the cut. That is why we add question-and-answer blocks based on real customer questions, with FAQPage markup. Details - page copy.

Fixes after the audit: what we change and where

We sort every problem we find by where it gets fixed. Page fixes - title, description, H1, copy, questions and answers, markup - are ready to paste from the report. Theme, plugin and hosting settings come with exact steps for you or your developer: speeding things up, opening access for AI crawlers, correcting canonical and hreflang tags, removing duplicates.

You make the fixes from the report yourself in your website admin: what to change and what to change it to are ready to paste.

The report: before and after

When the work is complete you receive a detailed report: each page's current figures, "before - after" fixes, ready markup code and where to make every change. The report records a baseline - Google rankings, visibility in AI answers, SEO and AI-readiness scores, speed.

Results are compared with that baseline: after 4 weeks, the same measurement on the same pages, with the "Support" subscription or a repeat audit. A report like this not only confirms the work was done but also shows what has changed. Example report.

GEO and SEO optimisation for websites in international markets

In most countries Google handles the overwhelming majority of search traffic, and its AI answers increasingly appear above the usual results. GEO and SEO optimisation means visibility in both places, taking into account how people actually search in each market. Below is what the work involves.

The technical foundation: indexing and language versions

The starting point is making sure Google and AI crawlers can read every important page. Many websites on WordPress, Shopify, Magento or other platforms have problems that cannot be seen from the outside: a noindex tag left behind by a developer, hreflang pointing to addresses that do not exist, canonical tags that loop between www and non-www or between regional versions. The audit finds these blockers before we work on queries - otherwise changes to the copy will simply not be taken into account.

Queries based on data for your market

We research queries in Google for your target country rather than relying on worldwide figures: a phrase with thousands of searches globally may get only a few dozen in a particular country, and the competition there is different. Each language or regional version of a website gets its own queries: wording often differs between the UK, Australia and Canada, and we check this with data for your specific niche.

Copy and headings for each language and regional version

A common mistake: titles and descriptions are written for one version, and the others are machine translations without their own queries. In the end only one version is properly optimised. In the report, titles, descriptions, H1s and copy are written for each version separately, based on its own real queries.

Common technical problems

Websites on inexpensive hosting often respond more slowly than competitors on fast servers - it shows in Core Web Vitals, and we show exactly what is slowing them down. Online shops with stock or ERP sync on WooCommerce or Magento lose their SEO fields: every product import resets titles and descriptions. Finding and fixing this conflict is one of the most valuable fixes in ecommerce. We also check bot protection: it often silently blocks AI search crawlers.

Links and off-page promotion

Backlinks are not part of the optimisation package: that is monthly work, and for Google in each country, topical links from websites in that market matter most. It is covered by a separate service GEO SEO Marketing. It makes sense to start with page optimisation: links to an unoptimised page have little effect.

Who GEO SEO optimisation is for

The package suits any business with a working website that needs visibility in Google and in AI answers to win enquiries or sales. Those who benefit most:

  • regional businesses - in cities such as Leeds, Bristol, Calgary, Ottawa or Adelaide - where local search brings phone calls and visitors;
  • online shops, for which search is the main source of customers;
  • service websites: solicitors, accountants, healthcare, construction - where rankings decide whether people find you;
  • company websites (B2B), blogs and the landing pages;
  • businesses that have grown through word of mouth and social media and now want a reliable source of customers.

When the package may not suit you:

  • the website needs a complete rebuild first - it makes sense to optimise the new one;
  • you need results within days - that is what advertising is for, while search takes weeks to register changes;
  • the business works purely through referrals and does not plan to win customers from search.

When to expect results

Google and AI search do not register changes straight away: the pages have to be recrawled and reassessed first. For a one-off optimisation, the benchmarks are:

  • immediately after the fixes are made - the pages are technically ready: open to indexing, with correct headings and markup;
  • 2-4 weeks - first changes: Google recrawls the pages, updates the titles in search results, new queries appear;
  • 1-3 months - noticeable movement in rankings for the main queries, especially low-difficulty ones;
  • longer - in major cities and competitive niches (legal, financial, medical services): there, optimisation often needs backlinks as well.

To see the result in figures, after 4 weeks we take a repeat measurement against the same baseline - with the "Support" subscription or a repeat audit.

The SEO optimisation mistakes we find most often

On most websites, pages get in each other's way. Here is what turns up in almost every audit:

  • the same title on dozens of pages - Google cannot tell which one to show;
  • keywords listed with commas in a heading or the copy - an old trick that now only does harm;
  • the H1 is the logo or company name rather than the topic of the page;
  • shop categories without a single sentence of text - to AI such a page is empty;
  • two pages targeting one query: both stuck at positions 30-50 instead of one in the top results;
  • heavy images without alt text slow the page down on mobile;
  • different phone numbers and opening hours on different pages - AI gives customers the wrong details;
  • blocked AI search crawlers - the website does not appear in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers even though it ranks in Google.

Checking a website for errors changes nothing in itself. The value lies in knowing exactly how and where to fix each error, which is why every finding in the report comes with a ready fix.

On-page website optimisation: a self-check list

A short checklist you can use to check any important page in 10 minutes:

  1. The page has its own main query, and it appears at the start of the title.
  2. The description explains why to choose you rather than repeating the heading.
  3. The page has a single H1, and it reflects the page's topic.
  4. The opening lines give a direct answer: what, where, how much, how to order.
  5. There are 3-5 questions and answers that customers genuinely ask.
  6. There is schema.org markup: business, product or service, questions and answers.
  7. The page is open to indexing and listed in the sitemap.
  8. AI search crawlers are blocked neither in robots.txt nor on the server.
  9. The page loads quickly on mobile.
  10. Other pages on the website link to it, and it is no more than 3 clicks from the home page.

If three or more of these points fail, the page loses rankings and its place in AI answers. The free estimate checks these points on 10 of your pages.

SEO optimisation: do it yourself or with us

You can carry out on-page optimisation yourself: the principles are public, and Google publishes its own guidelines. The difficulty lies elsewhere. You need to know the real demand for every page instead of guessing queries; distribute queries so that pages do not compete with each other; write dozens of unique titles and descriptions; check AI crawler access on the server, not just in robots.txt. For a 25-page website, that is several days of a specialist's work.

The service does the analysis and prepares all the fixes, and you apply them yourself in your website admin. That way you pay for expertise and data, not for hours of typing.

Website optimisation on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and Wix

WordPress. Titles and descriptions are usually set in the Yoast SEO or Rank Math plugin, and markup there as well or in the code.

WooCommerce and Magento. Categories and products have SEO fields, but stock syncs or import plugins often overwrite them. For WooCommerce and Magento we start by checking whether the fixes will be reset at the next product import.

Wix and Squarespace. Titles, descriptions and category text are edited in the website editor, but the set of fields is limited by the platform. The report shows what you can change yourself and what depends on the platform.

Shopify. Meta tags and copy are set in products and collections, markup in the theme or apps. We check whether apps duplicate each other's markup.

SEO optimisation worldwide: any country, any city

We work online, so the price is the same whether you are in London, Toronto, Sydney or anywhere else. For local businesses we add the city and area to titles, copy and markup so that Google and AI understand where you operate.

How to order SEO optimisation for your website

Start with a a free check of up to 10 pages: it shows demand for your services and what is holding you back right now. If you find the result useful, you can order SEO optimisation for your website online in six short steps. No website access needed.

Questions

How much does SEO website optimisation cost?

The price depends only on the number of pages: package S covers up to 25 pages for $49. You pay once, with no monthly fee.

Does the package cover several language versions of my website?

Yes, if pages from each version are included in the package: every URL counts as a separate page and gets its own queries based on real demand in its language.

Do I need Google Search Console?

Not necessarily: we take demand and rankings from SE Ranking data for Google in your country. If Search Console is connected, it is useful for checking results after the fixes.

Do you work with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and Wix?

Yes, the audit and report cover any platform, including checks for product sync conflicts. You or your developer apply the fixes from the report - on any platform.

What happens to my rankings if I do not renew anything?

The fixes stay on your website: you pay once and nothing gets switched off. Rankings hold until competitors improve their pages - which is what the "Support" subscription with its monthly measurement is for.

How does SEO optimisation differ from SEO promotion?

Optimisation is one-off work on your website's pages: audit, queries, headings, copy, markup, AI readiness. Promotion is monthly work: articles and backlinks. It makes sense to start with optimisation: without it, links are less effective.

How soon will I see results?

The first changes are usually visible within 2-4 weeks, with noticeable ranking movement within 1-3 months, and longer in competitive niches.

Do you need access to my website?

No. The audit and report work from your public pages, and you make the fixes yourself.
